Area Committees
The Federation is divided on the basis of Seven Areas. Each Area has a number of delegates who form the Area Committee charged in dealing with the local Area Management on matters affecting their members.
Each Area Committee appoints their Chairman and Secretary along with delegates to look after Welfare and Health and Safety.
The Secretary of each Area meet together three times a year along with the three National officers as the Management Committee.
The National Chairman, General Secretary and three members of the Management
Committee who form the Negotiating Committee who meet Force Management to
negotiate on matters which are not resolvable at Area level. All delegates
meet once a year at Annual Conference to form the policy for the Federation.
