FEDERATION GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT SCHEME

We are pleased to announce a number of improvements in benefits to the scheme at no further cost to members as follows (the figures in brackets are the old benefit levels) -

Main Benefits - Accidents Causing

  1. Death - £25,000 (£15,000)
  2. Loss of two or more limbs or eyes or one of each £25,000 £15,000)
  3. Loss of one limb or eye - £25,000 (£15,000)
  4. Permanent Total Disablement from usual occupation - £10,000 (£10,000)
  5. Permanent Total Disablement from gainful employment of any and every kind £25,000 (£20,000)
  6. Temporary Total Disablement from usual occupation £60 per week (£50) for the first 26 weeks of Disablement increasing to £75 per week (£75) for the next 78 weeks of Disablement.

Benefit 6 is payable per week for a maximum of 104 weeks in all, not necessarily consecutive. Benefit 6 is not payable for the first 4 weeks of any period of Disablement.

Addition Benefits

  1. Medical Expenses following an accident has increased to £20,000 maximum
  2. Coma benefit has been increased from £25 to £50 per day
  3. Hospitalisation benefit has been increased from £25 to £50 per day
  4. Funeral Expenses is now £10,000 (£2500)
  5. Cover now includes a retaining benefit of up to £10,000 (New Benefit)
  6. Cover now includes a disability assistance benefit of up to £20,000 (New Benefit)
