Our Insurance Broker, Alan Stevenson & Co., advise that Royal Sun Alliance have made a modest increase in premiums to take effect from 1st September 2001.

The reason for the increase is that the claims paid and outstanding have outstripped premiums. The number of members taking the cover has not achieved the levels anticipated by the Insurers and is slightly less than a quarter of the membership.
Our Brokers advise that the new rates still remain very competitive for the cover provided.
