Good News - C.S. Spray

I am delighted with the recent announcement that the Force has been given a dispensation from the Home Office allowing our officers to be issued with C.S. incapacitant Sprays.

As you know the Federation have long pushed for its introduction and have fully supported the Chief Constable and the Force in their efforts.

Training will commence shortly and a realistic completion date of 3lst March 2002 has been targeted.

This Federation will have a representative on the working group to oversee the implementation of the C.S. Spray.
