Review of the British Transport Police Force

The recent announcement by Alastair Darling concerning a review of the British Transport Police Force will be monitored closely over the following weeks. We have been assured that our Force will not be reviewed under the same criteria as the current Home Office review.

We have already commenced lobbying interested parties to ensure that the views of the Federation and its members are taken into account during this process.

As you are aware the Force has been subject to several reviews in recent years all with a positive outcome.
