Police Pay Award 2007
Circular 14/07
30 November 2007
The Independent Police Arbitration Tribunal has awarded a 2.5% rise. This decision, which is binding both for the official and Staff Sides of the Police Negotiating Board still has to be ratified by the respective Secretaries of State.
The pay award by the Police Arbitration Tribunal is extremely disappointing and we believe does not recognise our unique position.
We will be examining the full ruling, which includes the issue of indexation in the coming weeks.
Together with our colleagues on the Staff Side of the Police Negotiating Board we will evaluate the result of the arbitration and its implications for the future.
