Introduction

Following last years successful outcome to our pay dispute the task of changing existing BTP regulations to mirror Police Regulations continues. The requirement to mirror Police Regulations, with certain exceptions, e.g. Redundancy and Resettlement was contained within the Railways and Transport Safety Act.

Contrary to some advice being given we have NOT concluded negotiations on the Following:-

1. Recall to Duty
2. Essential User Provisions
3. The requirement to pay the whole shift at RDW if you commence a shift on a Rest Day.

Therefore BTP conditions apply until new agreements are negotiated.
