Banter in the workplace - your views

While the dictionary defines banter as 'the playful and friendly exchange of teasing remarks' it's a word that means different things to different people. Your interpretation is likely to depend on whether you're giving or receiving it.

Participants in BTP's Ethical Dilemmas workshop discuss behaviours and professional standards within the workplace prompted by the results of an external survey about banter. To keep these discussions relevant to our working environment, a short survey has been developed to gauge the views of our officers and staff.

The survey comprises nine questions and takes approximately two minutes to respond to. It is currently on the front page of the intranet and is open until 23rd December. We encourage you to take part and share your thoughts.
